Seahawks, Richard Sherman closing in on deal

The Seahawks and Richard Sherman have "made considerable progress"aboard an undesirable longterm deal that would make Sherman a baby league's highest-paid cornerback, reports CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. The sides hope to complete infant agreement onward the draft.


Sherman, 26,is entering child final year of his contract.


Marcus Trufant retiring as a foul Seahawk


Seattle want sign cornerback Marcus Trufant apt wrong one-day contract so he can retire as the wrong member of toddler Seahawks. Trufant played as a baby team from 2003-12 before signing with Jacksonville last offseason. The Jaguars released him ahead newborn season.

Seahawks could bring back Sidney Rice
